The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
This role is responsible for developing and managing all the long term volume forecast for SUV and Mulsanne models and to support the delivery of the companies planning round

Main Responsibilities:
1. SUV Volume Forecasts
a. Using relevant data, research, competitor analysis and experience to generate long term sales volume forecasts for SUV. Evaluate and explain changes from previous plans including risks and opportunities
b. Discuss plans with regions and other stake holders and obtain acceptance of the plans
c. Provide all SUV volume input requirements to Product Strategy meetings, Product Day, Group Product meetings( PSK) and PEP gateways
d. Support all scenario planning including engine, derivative and pricing strategies. Evaluate impact make recommendations and present to Head of Product Line, Sales, Project leaders and Sales Planning Director
e. Review financial impact of plans with S&M Finance
2. Mulsanne Volume Forecasts
a. Using relevant data, research, competitor analysis and experience to generate long term sales volume forecasts for Mulsanne. Evaluate and explain changes from previous plans including risks and opportunities
b. Discuss plans with regions and other stake holders and obtain acceptance of the plans
c. Support all Mulsanne volume input requirements to Product Strategy meetings, Product day, Group Product meetings( PSK) and PEP gateways
d. Support all scenario planning including engine, derivative and pricing strategies. Evaluate impact make recommendations and present to Head of Product Line, Sales, Project leaders and Sales Planning Director
e. Review financial impact of plans with S&M Finance
3. Planning Round
a. Support the preparation and delivery of Planning round with specific responsibility for SUV & Mulsanne
b. Support preparation and input of relevant information for all board presentations, Group, CO2 and Production Planning

4. Develop Forecasting and reporting tools
a. Continuous improvement of information and development of processes to improve quality of forecasting information

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience of working within a Sales Planning or relevant department.
* Able to work accurately under pressure.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Highly numerate with absolutely rigorous attention to detail
* Ability to present information to influence decisions
* Ability to present sometimes complex information up to Board level
* Forecast modelling skills
* Advanced Excel skills

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
* Sound automotive knowledge and a need to stay up to date with all market and competitor developments
