The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
The SAP Business Support Analyst will be a key member of the UK Supply Chain / Contracts and Procurement Group providing SAP support to the business in the areas of invoice tracking, service entry creation, obtaining financial approvals and service requisition creation.

• Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous HSSE performance improvement.
• Actively contributes to assist to achieve outstanding performance in meeting client Group targets of HSSE and efficiency.
• Ensures that SAP Business Support activities are fully compliant with client practices, current legislation and safe systems of work.
• Track invoices from point of entry into client system to posting for payment to the vendor.
• Create and process service entries into SAP and submit for approval.
• Ensure that financial approval of service entries is obtained in a timely fashion.
• Create service requisitions in SAP to allow Procurement Activity to take place.
• Work with vendors business unit to clarify any invoice queries to allow invoice payment to take place.
• Demonstrate an active performance mindset.
• Actively contribute to business / process improvement initiatives.

As a key member of the Supply Chain / C&P team, the post holders resource authority will include a shared management of:

• Daily and weekly SAP Business Support Team activities.
• Service Requisitions
• Service Entry Creations
• Service Entry approvals

The post holder will work with client customer groups to provide SAP Business Support and meet business needs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- SAP experience is preferred but not essential
- A background in invoice processing in the upstream oil and gas sector is preferred
- High numeracy skills
- Computer literate and conversant with all Microsoft software
- Customer focused
- Ability to plan and prioritise to meet deadlines
- Exhibit integrity at all times
- Work well in a small team
