The Role:
The Planner/Scheduler has a crucial role in the Planning and Scheduling the minor maintenance and operational work process.
The Planner role is critical to the effective productivity of the entire team.
The Maintenance Planner supports the work management process through creation of planned
Plan work packages to ensure compliance with allF of the Operator's EHS Safety Rules, Standards, and work practices.
Create work orders from approved notification
Visit jobsite occasionally to look for and identify risks and hazards and to aid in problem identification and possible trouble shooting
Interface with Notification originator when necessary to obtain detailed information about the defect/fault
Analyse problem defect/issue fault to diagnose the cause and determine scope of repair
Identify need for Work Package
Develop Work Package for complex maintenance jobs with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of maintenance work to include:
Use of the Work Package Check sheet
On the Operations tab of the Work Order
Determine sequence of operations for complete repair with all work centers required and estimate time and manpower needed
Provided detailed task description for each work center including any special precautions.
Determine if internal or external services are required and estimate resource requirements.
On the Components tab of the Work Order:
Determine parts and materials needed for repair
Monitor delivery dates and track receipt of ordered goods
Apply SAP status codes to Work Order to track progress in the P&S process
Keep appraised of work execution constraints
Keep track of available resource levels and maintain work center capacities in SAP
Keep appraised of 90 day plans particularly in relation to equipment stops, outages, shut-downs and specialty services for efficiencies in scheduling multiple work centers
Keep track of Work Order priorities and status
Prepare draft schedule for the Weekly Scheduling meeting by reviewing:
14 and 90 day Integrated Activity Plan to identify outages, shutdowns, etc.
Work Order Status of all jobs that are Ready to Schedule (RSCH)
Resource loading,
Equipment Availability
Contractor/Vendor Availability
Work Order Priority
Work Order Basic Start and Basic Finish Dates
Publish draft schedule for review by maintenance and operations leadership
Communicate and publish frozen schedule at least 3 days before the start of the scheduled work week
Facilitate the daily YTT meeting and update the schedule daily
Adjust the schedule to facilitate emergency work requirements (break-ins), changes in priorities and resources
Updates schedule to reflect status of Work Orders before the weekly planning/scheduling meeting
Identify requirements for master data changes and request using M9 notification
Maintain and use library of standard task lists and Work Packages
Keep lines of communication open with equipment owners and technical authorities
Work with Warehouse to kit and stage parts, material, documentation, special tools, etc. for executor of Work Order
Evaluate Work Package Feedback form and update standard tasks lists and Work Packages if needed to improve future work and efficiency
Utilize SAP knowledge to provide technical assistance as required for asset personnel
Participate in Monthly Performance Review and Work log Review meetings

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Must have expert SAP Planning skills
mechanical AND I&E experience with onshore facilities projects or 1 of each to rotate in/out on a 2 week rotation
Develop and Maintain SAP content, asset hierarchy, work pack library, task list and other master data
Ability to read standard engineering documents. (P&IDs), ISOs, Construction Print.
Demonstrated working knowledge of SAP PM
Effective meeting management
Experience with Microsoft Project, P6 or other industry standard scheduling program as tools for defining maintenance scheduling.
Ability to issue monthly work order and schedule statistic reports from SAP.
Ability to monitor and prioritize work order status.
Ability to conduct manpower and resource levelling to achieve the weekly schedule.
Understand workflow and task management
Interpret SAP data to analyse key performance indicators(KPI)
Perform effectively in a multitasking environment
Ability to mentor and coach others
Experience with continuous improvement processes
