The Company:
Our client has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and the North Sea Continental Shelf since 1964. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, gas is produced from 22 platforms and 3 subsea production installations. Most of the platforms are unmanned and remotely operated; four have gas treatment facilities.

The Role:
The SCE Methods Engineer is responsible for all aspects of Safety critical elements with special attention to:
- The quality of the data in CMMS
- The identification of new SCE items through analyses and proposals
- The introduction of new SCE with modifications and new equipment
- The training and support of all CMMS PM end users for the SCE solution
- The connection with HQ specialists in CMMS to ensure last standards are updated and applied.

ACTIVITIES:

CMMS:
- Key User of SAP PM and BW modules
- Analyze the use of SAP R3 and BW in order to comply with the company rules
- Train and motivate all SAP PM and BW users to use proper procedures
- Ensures integrity of all SCE data in SAP, by means of daily checks and periodically audits
- Develop training materials to ensure a good training level of SAP R3 and BW programs for SCE
- Represents Dutch SAP PM and BW interests for SCE in consultancy committees and meetings, as there are: the North Sea Support Organisation, the SAP level 3 support from Pau and the CMMS team of TDO/EXP/MIN.

Safety Critical Elements:
- Security of asset integrity related work schedules, inspections performed offshore and performance standards.
- Support to onshore specialists and offshore crews.
- Creating awareness of asset integrity within the organization.
- Identification of assets according to the asset integrity policy.
- Reporting and analyzing data with regard to asset integrity / SCE.
- Performing audits on preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Providing management and supervisors with KPI information
- Monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and providing practical solutions
- Assisting supervisors and specialists with integrating maintenance concepts.
- Providing input for the annual production operations and shutdown budget.
- Update CMMS upon reporting feedback.
- Improve SAP PM Master Data related to SCE functionalities.
- Setting up of Maintenance Plan improvement proposals to comply with SCE / Asset Integrity policy.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Ensures integrity of SAP R3 data for SCE
- Ensures updates of the concept for scope additions (new platforms)
- Contributes to the optimisation of maintenance engineering.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Candidates should have an Engineering degree (BSc, Beng or equivalent) with at least 5 years practical experience. Candidates should know offshore environment and should understand maintenance in operations.
- Practical experience with ERP systems is mandatory; experience with SAP PM is mandatory. Skills in Excel / PWP
- Strong communication skills and a good command of written and verbal English are essential.
