The Role:
Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Updating and populating data within MS Project.
• Chair Routine Work Control (RWC) key meetings within the business units.
• Management/Coordination of work packs between planning and Area
• Changing status codes and requesting of materials within ORBIT
• Manage and issue the routine maintenance schedule for the Area.
• Processing progress/End of day report sheets.
• Coordinate Resource moves across site with the Trade teams.
• Booking and confirming status of various support services
• Generating standard reports/metrics.
• Working with other schedulers to best share and deploy resources to achieve optimum crew loading figures.
• Managing work orders within the schedule with the Area Operations staff to achieve work on time.
• Supporting RWC team lead and offering support as required.
• Other tasks as deemed appropriate by supervisor

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Proficient in use of MS Project as a scheduling tool.
• Able to generate and produce weekly maintenance schedules.
• Able to produce metrics and basic reports from the schedule.
• Able to liaise with Operations staff, Engineers and technicians.
• Logical with good attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Good working knowledge of ORBIT, MS Excel, MS Word and other MS applications would be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of RWC planning process would be an advantage.
• Previous experience of Refinery Maintenance an advantage
