The Company:
Our client is a leading oil and gas operator and we are currently seeking an experienced Planner for their LNG team based in Houston.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following main activities:

• The Planning/Scheduling Engineer will provide scheduling and progress measurement expertise for LNG Projects
• Provide all levels of schedule expertise to Projects in the development stages of work (in either P6 or MP
• Maintain progress curves and project progress forecasts
• Lead the development of the Project Work Plan for both the stage level and the overall project.
• Develop the schedule and progress report format and prepare reports for internal and external use
• Work with project cost engineer in developing cost phasing and forecasts across the schedule

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We are therefore seeking applications from candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Min of 10 years experience in working for an International oil & gas company
• Track record in preparing strategy and plans for engineering projects
• Previous full life cycle exposure to all phases of an LNG Project, e.g. Site work, LNG plant, utilities, pipelines, marine
• Experience in managing scheduling activity across all phases of a feasibility, FEED, design, procurement and commissioning.
• Knowledge of standard engineering documents, e.g. PFD, equipment lists, weight reports
