The Company:
Our Client is a Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
The Communication Specialist creates and delivers communication plans within acceptable time/cost/quality criteria; he/she develops and implements robust measurement approaches to measuring effectiveness of internal communications.

The role holder will manage all communication channels, using appropriate mechanisms to best deliver effective communications to employees, SCM leadership and RPU leadership.

Key Role Accountabilities
• Define communications requirements, providing advice on strategic communications issues.
• Create and deliver communication plans and materials aligned to the SCM and RPU agenda.
• Creates key communications for VPs and senior management.
• Coaches Team Leads on enhancing communications in their respective area, including presentation style, feedback and use.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified or equivalent preferred.
• Proven ability in crafting audience specific messages for a variety of stakeholders ranging from team members to senior management.
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge in a variety of communication channels – online, print, face to face etc., and experience in the selection of optional channels for various communications.
• Demonstrable experience measuring the effectiveness of targeted communications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders ranging from team members to senior management; and the ability to present information in a clear and compelling manner

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Oil & Gas industry experience.
• Global / Multi-national business experience.
• Being able to work under pressure and stringent time constraints.
• Team leader as well as working under own initiative.
• Knowledge of Arabic or Chinese is desirable.
• Experience working in an Integrated Project Team environment.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office products i.e. PowerPoint, Access & Excel and Visio.
