The Role:
The SCM Coordinator shall form part of the Supply Chain department and is responsible for a range of Supply Chain Management activities which support Tendering and Projects. Procure direct & indirect materials and services and ensure delivery as per the Procurement Plan requirements (Time, Cost, Quality) and coordinate all SCM activities.

Coordinate with in-house departments to ensure all requirements are included in pre-qualification and tender documents - including flowdown and prepare/issue the Request for Quotation to the suppliers
• Coordinate and/or perform commercial and contractual analysis, evaluation of bids, and incorporate technical evaluation from Engineering, QA, QC & HSE. Finalise the bid summary and prepare recommendation summaries for award and/or tender cost input
• Manage the Kick off Meetings with Vendors, ensuring in particular that instructions related to Vendor documentation and to the administration of the Award are clearly explained and understood. Ensure files for each Award are filed in an orderly fashion and effectively manage and follow-up suppliers against awarded purchase orders or subcontracts
• Coordinate and/or perform commercial negotiation; ensure the best deal for the client
• Coordinate in all matters with the relevant Regional Commodity leads
• Coordinate with the Quality, Doc control functions throughout the progress of the Awards
• Manage and conduct supplier feedback assessment process during the cycle of the subcontract/purchase order and/or post completion
• Is aware of the overall project schedule, planning, organisation and has knowledge of its main issues
• Report according to project requirement, on progress and problems on the Awards
• Participate in pre-qualification of potential suppliers to the Company's Approved Vendor List
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and works according to client processes, Business Code of Ethic and uses SCM tools
• To support internal functions in achieving savings targets and in deriving additional value from contracts across Direct & Indirect categories
• Lead contractual negotiations to ensure favourable contractual terms in commercial contract
• Establish and implement procurement strategy in line with client processes
• Working with the Legal department to identify contractual risks and implement T's & C's to deliver the business requirements
• Assist the Supply Chain Manager in the administration, planning and allocation of SCM resource
• Assist in mentoring and training other SCM personnel
• Ensuring group Strategies are followed and targets are achieved

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant degree in Engineering or Business Management is essential; extensive experience may replace the requirement for higher education.
Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or working towards it is desirable.
Strong presentation skills are essential
Experience in category management is desirable.
Knowledge of the strategic sourcing process is desirable.
Expert experience using analytical tools and techniques is essential.
Ability to work across all functions and levels of an organisation is essential
Good influencing and persuasion skills, strong negotiation and contract management skills are essential.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluency in English is essential.
Proficiency in stakeholder management and communications is essential.
Experience in subcontracting and procurement including experience in contract negotiations is essential.
Relevant previous experience in an Oil & Gas environment with the Supply Chain is essential
