This vacancy has now expired.
The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Due to expansion within the Supply Chain Management department an opportunity is now become available for a CSM Project Analyst to join this highly efficient team.

In this role you will be a project focusing on a “Look back” style approach to the current methodology and cost centre structure with a view to establishing how this can be improved and streamlined for more efficient management and allocations. Warehousing is a new area within SCM that will require OPEX cost centres to be in place shortly and will need a completely new allocation methodology to be in place. As these two areas cross over we are hoping that synergies and lesson learnt can be applied in the set up of this new area within the Finance processes.

The candidate will need to have an ability to review existing processes and systems, understand the business requirements and assess what may be required to be implemented to accommodate this changing environment. This must be aligned with the projects as well as working with the Operational team. They will also be required to present the suggested options to senior managers to ensure engagement, as well as engaging with our Customers to communicate the impact of these new changes and get their sign off on the new methodologies for Audit purposes. They will then recommend how the ongoing process should be managed within the SCM Finance team and pull together the Work Instructions in line with any existing documentation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this position you will require the following:

An accounting or similar Business Degree
Experience in business or process improvement project experience would be required
Exposure to structured, documented approaches to projects to ensure clarity of outcomes/suggestions
Cost management/allocation experience preferable or some form of Financial knowledge
Communication skills are essential as this role is one of Facilitator and will require the person to communicate across a broad spectrum of levels and expertise (Financial and Operational Leaders)
The experience and ability to control discussions and ensure compromises can be met in challenging environments, to balance operational needs and financial restrictions

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Exposure to some certificates such as Lean or Six Sigma would be useful

This position is based in Perth and is a 6 month contract working a standard eight hour day.
