The Company:
Our client is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they are currently building an integrated oil refining and petrochemical operation by way of upgrading their oil refinery and constructing a new petrochemical complex. This joint venture has been in place since August 2005 when the project was established. This is an opportunity to work for and with one of the worlds leading oil companies in one of their major downstream projects.

The Role:
Our client - A leading Oil and Gas Operator - is currently looking for a Refinery Section Head to join their Asset Integrity Management department based in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.
The Refinery Section Head will be responsible for maintaining and improving the manufacturing facilities in compliance with safety standards and requirements, and to lead a team of professionals in order to provide engineering support to operations and maintenance in compliance with industry standards.
The role will be working with the client on a Direct Hire/Permanent basis, and you will be located in Saudi Arabia on Residential Status. This means you will be relocating to Saudi Arabia, and will be able to relocate with family if you wish, as the client offers excellent Single or Family status benefits packages, on top of a highly competitive Tax Free Salary.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The selected candidate must have the following experience and skillsets:
A Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering from a reputable university. A higher level degree (Masters/MBA/PhD) is also preferred.
15 years of work experience in an operational refinery or petrochemical plant with a minimum of 5 years in senior Technical positions responsible to provide correct technological solutions in a timely manner.
Proven knowledge and sound experience of the in charge area as well as general oil & petrochemical plants practices.
Sound knowledge on safety requirements, risk evaluation and environmental policies of this company
Knowledge of unit processes operations of plants, cost control and business management.
Results oriented leader with strong determination & lead by example with willingness to work based on business needs
Demonstrated technical problem solving skills, especially for complicated issues and under plant emergency conditions
