The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Client is currently recruiting for a Security and Emergency Management Training Officer The primary objective of this role is to develop and coordinate the delivery of security, emergency and crisis training and exercises across Client Australia, leading to better preparedness and higher readiness across the organisation.
Key responsibilities of this position include:

Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
Encourage a mindset of Anzen Dai Ichi (Safety First) in all activities
Act as security and emergency training focal point, supporting managers and personnel to conduct training and exercises, covering incident scenarios for all areas of operation, and managing interfaces with external stakeholders
Coordinate security, emergency and crisis training for Client Australia
Undertake training needs analysis and design training programs
Coordinate the delivery of emergency and crisis management exercises
Coordinate post activity reporting
Coordinate lessons learned development and implementation
Coordinate training records and competency development
Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the HSE Learning and Capability team
Liaise with external consultants for the delivery of training and exercises
Conduct due diligence checks on new service providers
Coordinate training and deployment of Floor Wardens and First Aiders
Ensure that where appropriate, training is delivered in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework, or other relevant standards
Demonstrate and encourage empathetic team work as a member of a culturally diverse organisation
Contribute to the development of a team ethos among the security and emergency management communities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment
Audit qualification (desirable)
Knowledge of Australian Quality Training Framework
Knowledge of security and emergency management in the oil and gas industry and an understanding of state and national arrangements
Three to five years’ experience in the development, delivery and coordination of training programs
Understanding of offshore and onshore oil & gas emergency management systems
Highly developed communication skills, including strong written skills
Experience in implementation of security and emergency management training programs
Strong management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to network effectively with diverse stakeholders
