The Role:
Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Manager in implementing International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code requirements for Company’s operating ports. Coordinate with all Songkhla Facilities to ensure that each facility has workable Site Specific Security Plan in place.
• Ensure effective communication and cooperation between Songkhla Facilities, Security Manager and the relevant authorities (e.g. Police). Liaise with local police, anti-bombing squad or relevant authorities in case of security-related emergencies.
• Assist in monitoring, reporting and documenting the performance of the contract security force at Songkhla Facilities.
• Ability to obtain security intelligence especially within Songkhla province and the vicinity which may have negative impact on Company.
• Assist in enhancing security awareness and vigilance by all staff and contractors working at Songkhla and Offshore Facilities.
• Assist the Security Manager in implementing International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code requirements for Company’s offshore operations. Coordinate with applicable Company facilities to ensure that they are in full compliance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) and Thailand’s Marine Department. Revise and audit ISPS Code Security Plans necessary as a result on non conformities. Submit amended ISPS Code Security Plans to the relevant authorities through PGPA when changes have been made. Coordinate security training by ensuring adherence to IMO and Company requirements under the direction of the Security Manager.
• Coordinate with all Offshore Facilities to ensure that each facility has workable Site Specific Security Plan in place. Act as coordinator and expert for all security-related non conformities submitted by company personnel and manage the management of change process.
• Liaise with the appointed Company Security Officers on each facility, relevant Security service provider and other Oil Company maritime security personnel.
• Work with Marine Operations Subject Matter Experts and Global Security to build security knowledge/ capacity and intelligence.
• Coordinate all security related activities pertaining to both manned and unmanned oilfield installations and vessels in all Company offshore areas. Coordinate the Security personnel, contract personnel and Government Security Forces working within offshore areas.
• Assist in the development of emergency plans and providing prompt emergency response as and when needed within the offshore areas. Provide new projects with maritime security advice in the form of security assessments, documents and practical application.
• Represent the Security Manager at meetings, seminars, conferences, consulting with client representatives and Government Security Agencies and building and maintaining good relationships with key officers in the offshore areas.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications (Education, Work Experience, English and Computer Skills)

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent
• 5 - 8 years work experience in any field
• Open-mind for modern security covering physical, maritime and aviation base security
• Information Technology (IT) competency
• Ability to effectively communicate in English both writing and speaking

Preferred Additional Qualifications/ Experience:

• Some security experience will be beneficial
