The Company:
Our client is a major Oil & Gas operator, active worldwide working to meet the world's growing demand for energy by exploring for oil and natural gas, refining and marketing gasoline, producing chemicals and researching renewable technologies.

The Role:
The Security Specialist will be primarily responsible for coordinating activities relating to management and monitoring of the IPSS Contractor activities, management of interfaces between the Contractor, Client, Russian Design Institutes and other contractors working on the project. The position of the Security Specialist will report to the Lead IPSS Technical Lead for the IPSS contracts. Specific responsibilities will include:
•Management and monitoring of IPSS Contractor.
•Review of IPSS contractor detail design documentation and providing design comments
•Coordinating review of documentation and comments with specialists, RDI personnel and construction contractors. Participation in group design reviews may also be necessary.
•Coordinating data needs for IPSS and other involved parties as above.
•Participation in Factory Acceptance Testing, Integrated Acceptance Testing and monthly meetings as required.
•Monitoring of construction and installation activities of IPSS systems
•Participate in “mechanical completion” activities of IPSS, Site Acceptance testing, and assistance in Client turnover of the systems.
•Facilitate collaboration among different functional disciplines within the project team as well as project contractors and representatives to progress emerging and on-going interface issues relating to the IPSS scopes of work.
•Work with RIMS coordinator to maintain an interface register to effectively track/monitor progress of interfaces relating to the CS&C scopes of work. Ensure that all affected documentation is correctly updated in accordance with project procedures prior to close-out of project interfaces.
•Follow – up with project team members on actions necessary to progress contractor interfaces to timely closure
•Maintain/manage an action list of issues to be resolved.
•Follow and implement safe work practices through personal commitment to an Incident & Injury Free culture.
•Comply and promote compliance with company and project specific processes and procedures to ensure successful outcomes.
•Frequent domestic and foreign travel may be required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Extensive engineering and construction experience in IPSS, including combined management and engineering level experience.
•Experience working in complex multidiscipline projects with EPC contractors in Russia will be a plus.
•Systems integration knowledge. Extensive experience directly designing and/or managing: Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems).
•Must be familiar with Russian codes & regulations related to IPSS systems in oil and gas environments; experience with Russian and Kazakh design institutes a plus
•Project experience with security system integrators including conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) is desirable.
•Demonstrated ability to achieve desired results by encouraging and supporting the contributions of others
•Possession of required knowledge, skills and experience to work effectively with others throughout the organization.
•Able to speak and write clearly in a variety of settings and

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Qualified Russian Federation citizen (must be bi-lingual English - Russian).
•Work experiences in Russia Federation, Republic of Kazakhstan or other CIS countries.
