Segment Distribution Specialist (SDS)

The Role:
• Is the single point of contact for the field, especially for FSMs and Ops Support Managers. Proactively updates the Segment on deliveries status.
o Provides timely information and updates to internal customers for all Distribution related matters, as single point of contact
o Arranges periodic meetings (e.g. weekly) to review order priorities / status with operations
o Participates regularly to Operations meetings to be updated on segment news

• Proactively follows up on segment deliveries from PO to GR and product availability
o Proactively follows up on on-going shipments with support from the DSC and takes appropriate action.
o Liaises with different stakeholders to get information on deliveries status from PO to GR
o Compares actual delivery dates against required delivery dates and standard lead times.

• Manages FMTs and emergency shipments
o Supports and tracks the FMTs/transport requests for his/ her locations
o Organizes the shipments for FMTs
o Liaises with the SDS from the sourcing (FMT-In) or destination (FMT-Out) GM and TMC to follow-up on the status
o Manages in particular the follow-up of emergency shipments deliveries

• To be confirmed – Contributes to WSV chemicals inventory policy implementation
o Provides standard lead time updates, as per requirement for chemicals replenishment planning
o Is warehouse supervisor back-up to define the local replenishment plan

• Supports distribution continuous improvement for the segment
o Monitors distribution service level provided to the field and shares this performance with Operations
o Monitors lead time performance for all local legs (Green-Light, custom clearance and local transportation)
o Monitors international logistics costs (e.g. FMTs)
o Is responsible for distribution performance in the GM
o Reports and investigates any process deviation to ensure continuous improvement on service quality

• Contributes to other duties as assigned (e.g. Systems Champion for the GM)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Master or Bachelor Degree in related field
• Good knowledge in import/Export for Dangerous Goods
• Experiences minimum 6 – 8 years in DC .
• Excellent communication Skills.
• Fluent in English and Thai communication and presentation.
• Mature person, able to work independence and teamwork
