The Role:
The Department
The Exploration and Development department is a matrix organisation, in which staff work in integrated asset teams (consisting of geologists, geophysicist and reservoir engineers), and report to asset leaders as part of their position and to the heads of their respective disciplines on a professional basis (geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering). Petrophysics provide technical support to the asset teams.

The Asset Team
An asset team is responsible for the subsurface activities involving its asset. They cover all the evaluation work that is required for the optimum production of the fields, surveying the exploration potential, presenting proposals for the exploration and / or production wells and workovers, and the preparation of field development plans, amongst other things. For this purpose the asset team analyses all relevant information and conducts operations to collect assess and process that data. In addition, an asset team records and analyses the operations department on the performance of production related activities. An asset team advises the commercial department on gas contract negotiations, unitisation and balancing.

Responsibilities
• Interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data, inversion data and attribute data.
• Velocity analysis and depth conversion, fault interpretation, and time and depth map construction.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Ideally you will have a number of years working in seismic interpretation with an operator
• 2D and 3D seismic interpretation, ideally in the SNS
• Strong understanding of qualitative seismic attribute analysis
• Knowledge of structural geology, sequence stratigraphy, depositional systems, and basin modeling.
• Degree qualified with a relevant degree
