The Company:
Our Client is multinational oil & gas company in Indonesia is seeking potential candidates for Senior Acquisition Specialist

The Role:
Role Synopsis : Provide seismic acquisition technical expertise for the Seismic Delivery Team. Including survey design, procurement, operational oversight, and project management.
Key accountabilities
• Responsible for all aspects of project management for seismic acquisition projects, including manpower planning, project planning & execution.
• Develop project scope, timing and cost estimates for seismic acquisition programs; as well as liaise with BPMIGAS for budget approval.
• Lead the seismic project team and work with PSCM to develop contract documents and execute the procurement process, including BPMIGAS approval if required.
• Organise all permits required to carry out the field operations.
• Act as The Company representative for planning, managing, and coordinating the seismic QA/QC and the field operations.
• Provide assurance throughout the project to ensure the technical and HSSE aspects are delivered as promised in the contract.
• Coordinate management of all HSSE matters in seismic operations, including Environmental and Security Impact Assessments, Hazard and Risk assessment, and working with the contractor and HSSE specialists to develop and implement the project HSSE & Emergency Response Plan.
• Implement project management tools: risk assessments and mitigation plans; project timelines; and budget tracking.
• Coach and mentor junior staff in seismic operations / seismic acquisition related matters.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Geophysics or similar science degree.
• A minimum of 8 years experience in E&P companies or geophysical contractor
• Experience in developing tender packages and knowledgeable in procurement regulations.
• Strong geophysical technical background and experinece in seismic acquisition design using commercial software.
• Experience in contractor pre-qualification /tender processes and pre-survey planning
• Deep knowledge of Seismic HSSE and experience in project-level risk assessments, including HAZIDs
• Wide network in the industry with ability to provide pre-survey cost estimates and actual cost tracking for seismic projects.
• Experience in seismic project start-ups and close out meetings with contractors.
• Strong technical experience in seismic acquistion concepts and practices in different environments
