The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities This role is a key position in the team responsible for providing PA/admin support to MP&L International Plant Group Manager and senior team. It will also involve team administration for the wider International Plant Group department.

Responsibilities include:

* Diary management and admin support for Lean Logistics Manager including scheduling of meetings in line with departmental calendar.
* Provide administration support to the Solihull MP&L Team.
* Dealing with general departmental correspondence e.g. letters, e-mails, telephone calls
* Managing diaries, arranging meetings, booking conference rooms etc using Google Mail
* Produce presentations using Microsoft Word & Microsoft Powerpoint
* Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports (candidate needs to be competent with MS Office data management methods and training will be given on the specific departmental systems)
* Data entry & production of departmental reports using Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
* Collection of data & information from a variety of sources (inside and outside of Company) and collating/summarising for use by the Senior Management Team
* Filing and archiving information in accordance with departmental and company processes ¿
* Weekly/monthly maintenance and submission of travel, overtime, G&E requirements ¿ Travel planning support including flight / hotel bookings
* Administration of expenses for Senior team ¿ General Office duties including stationery and paper supply ordering/recycling.
* Involvement with induction of new starters and associated administration. * Time on line, holiday and absence record control.
* Daily interface with team to ensure reporting needs & documentation is up to date, accurate and on time

Skills Required:
* Ability to work effectively on own initiative or as part of a team.
* Able to handle highly confidential information sensitively and appropriately with discretion Proven ability to prioritise workload demands, able to use influencing skills/persuasion etc. to 'get the job done on time'
* Self-motivated and adaptable to changing demands. Able to apply skills/experience to a number of different tasks
* Possesses a high attention to detail/accuracy of work Confident with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation as well as with external contacts.
* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively via e-mail/telephone etc.
* Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook /Google Mail
* Proven track record in an office environment preferred.
* Experience of systems is desirable ¿ Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail and deadlines.

Experience Required:

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively via e-mail/telephone etc.
* Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook /Google Mail
* Proven track record in an office environment preferred.
* Experience of JLR systems is desirable
* Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
