The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Provide day to day supervision for the Process Analyzers technicians who will be responsible for the troubleshooting/repair and maintenance of the process analyzers including CEMs (Continuous Emission Monitoring probes) throughout the entire Sadara site.

Responsible for compliance with all Sadara safety standards, and procedure including safe operation of the Analyser Houses.

Participate in the development of standard and critical safe process analysers work procedures.
3. Ensure the process analyser system is performing as per the configured specifications and the process analysers deliver accurate and timely analytical results per the production unit requirements.

4. Ensure process analysers are calibrated, validated, and maintained as per the set schedule, and the standard operating procedures.

5. Set operational goals and objectives, review progress, and monitor employee performance; identify training needs, and design and carry out training programs to meet employees’ training & certification requirements.

6. Ensure reliable operation of analyser systems and full implementation and utilization of Analysers Information Management System (AIMS).

7. Plan and define analyser technician’s technical resources and succession Planning; develop & sustain knowledge & expertise in process analysers technologies used in Sadara.

8. Support the Process Analyser Specialist / Engineer efforts for the development of new analyser technologies; leverage resources, and participate in cross functional teams in support of site analysers operations.

9. Maintain and extend the organizational effectiveness of process analysers operation through empowerment, and recognizing excellent performance.

10. Develop and monitor operational budget for the process analysers; assist Analyser Specialist to initiate, justify, and obtain approval for capital plans for new process analyser’s projects.

11. Participate in reviews to identify opportunities to optimize the number of analyses performed on-line and in the lab.

12. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
Mangerial Duties

1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by division staff.

2. Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with Sadara’s policies and procedures.

3. Assess the current skill set of employees and identify the need for development programs.

4. Motivate, coach, develop and support respective employees.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum)
• Minimum BS degree in Industrial Chemistry or related area in Engineering / technology field.

Professional Experience (minimum)
• Min 10 years of Experience in Process Analyzers Systems or Analytical Chemistry, with good interpersonal skills, Grade Code 12 (Engineer II).
• Min 15 years of Experience in Process Analyzers Systems or Analytical Chemistry, with people management responsibility Grade Code 13 (Engineer I).
