The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Architectural Designer on an agency contract hire basis for our Stockport office.

Candidates must have the ability to efficiently produce Architectural drawings and schedules using Microstation.

The successful candidate will be working on buildings for a Sulphur Handling Project in Kazakhstan. Successful candidates CVs will need to be approved by client. Duties and skills include

Carrying out Architectural/layout detailed design and working efficiently within a multi-disciplined Project team on a large Oil and Gas Project.
Preparing detailed Architectural Floor Plans, Roof Plans, Sections and Elevations for Industrial/Administrative buildings in the Oil & Gas industry.
Prepare detailed standardized building sections for external walls, internal walls, roofing elements, Fire rated walls, raised access floors etc.
Prepare reflected ceiling plans incorporating all elements including lights, HVAC diffusers/extracts, smoke alarms, gas monitors etc.
Knowledge of building codes (SNIPS, GOST, international)
Lay out and plan interior room arrangements for Industrial / Administrative buildings, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software
Integrate the Architectural design with other discipline designs including Structural, Mechanical, Process, Instrumentation, HVAC, and Electrical.

Substantial design experience using microstation and Smart Plant Review the ability to liaise directly with other disciplines with capability to deliver Architectural detail drawings and deliverables for construction issue packages of a high quality. Working in 3D PDS experience an advantage.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experienced Architectural designer Must be experienced microstation user.
3D PDS environment experience an advantage.
HNC/HND qualified with substantial relevant experience in Process, Power or Hydrocarbons multidisciplinary projects.
