The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
• Develop and implement assurance program for Gorgon contracts to ensure that proper procedures and controls are in place for the verification of contract payments.
• Work closely with all relevant stakeholders including Finance, Contracts, Audit, and Project Controls to understand processes, identify risks, and develop controls to mitigate risk.
• Supervise team of 1-2 that will perform assurance activities.
• Develop reporting tools and perform analysis of assurance findings to identify any trends, areas of concern, and gaps. Consolidate and report assurance findings.
• Demonstrate, participate, and develop the IIF culture within Chevron.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (CA/CPA or studying towards)
• 5 years minimum post graduation experience in finance, accounting, or audit role; Supervisory experience required; Exposure to oil and gas industry and/or experience with construction/engineering contracts beneficial but not essential
• Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Attention to detail, strong communication skills; strong written and spoken English skills required for interpretation of complex contractual documentation and report writing.
