The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Business Operations Analyst to join a leading Oil and Gas Operator for a 6 month duration. The position provides a strong, reliable analysis and reporting function within the Project Logistics Group, working across disciplines to research and acquire data from a variety of sources within the Project and Business Unit.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

•Support data analysis for management of the MOC process for Logistics and Material Management
•Present data analysis and basis of calculation summaries to senior Project Management
•Lead and be accountable for the development of robustly researched and analysed Decision Support Packages in support of Logistics strategy initiatives
•Data gathering and analysis duties as required by the Strategy and Cost Reduction Manager and other Logistics Managers
•Provide a central point of contact for the Business Unit group for the provision of Project data and analysis
•Manage and plan the demobilisation of the Project Contractors’ plant and equipment
•Assist Logistics Director and Deputy Logistics Director with the generation and continued development of all project reporting requirements
•Monthly Operational Excellence reporting
•Adhoc reporting and analysis as required
•Formatting and producing accurate, timely and well-presented reports to senior management, in accordance with the Gorgon Project’s document control requirements and procedures.
•Monitor and report out on Key Performance Indicators and the Project milestone at the department and project level.
•Co-ordination and compilation of Logistics Monthly Dashboard report in accordance with Cost procedures
•Financial analysis and Tracking of actual spend in relation to current contract forecasts
•Prepare, present and facilitate twice weekly Logistics Operations Meetings
•Attend and minute meetings when required
•Review and report manning forecast and models for quarterly review
•Support members of the Business Operations group and provide leave cover

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Minimum of Bachelor Or Arts or Science with a strong preference for Masters in Business or Commerce
•Qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred
•Minimum of 5 years in a similar business analyst, administration, operational performance management monitoring role
•A comprehensive understanding of project change management principles and practices
•A comprehensive understanding of logistics operations business drivers
•A strong understanding of finance, cost control and cost forecast management practices
•Advanced user levels in MS reporting tools and Excel
•Experience in Lean Sigma and process rationalisation
•Proven leadership skills supervising one junior analyst capable of working with a minimum of supervision to achieve deadlines, proactive team attitude, capable of working across departmental boundaries to achieve positive outcomes for the project
•Very good communication skills with the ability to present complic
