The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting Management Data for the Sales & Marketing Purchasing Team. The role will involve creating and managing a number of different report suites. This will include extracting information from a variety of systems and then identifying trends in the data to assist with the management of the team. The candidate will be required to work with the team to identify gaps in data and work independently to fill these gaps, including collecting best practise data and storing in a central location. The candidate will also need to oversee all purchasing process amendments in the Company sales companies around the world and create a database to manage the change requests. The candidate will also manage and update the team’s SharePoint site which will include training all users worldwide on how to use it.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree or equivalent.
• Experience working within a Purchasing (or similar) environment is desirable. Strong cognitive skills including an ability to analyse and synthesise data.
• An ability to translate strategic goals into operational activities.
• Excellent IT skills and a practical knowledge of using excel to an advanced level.
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral), including an ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and with people of varying levels of seniority.
• Strong organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure and a proactive approach to problem solving and ability to act decisively.
• The ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work and to work independently or as part of a wider team.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to organise workload, and the capacity to progress a range of tasks and projects at one time.
• The capacity to master new systems, areas of knowledge and skills rapidly
