Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
The role involves design/development INTERIOR trim assemblies & components / systems for future vehicle programmes. This includes Cabin Trim / Cockpit trim / Seating soft trim and structures.
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Catia V5 ideally V6, MUST have a formal training certificate from an IBM accredited training organisation
2. Automotive experience with ability to create 2D/3D detail geometry and modelling package studies. Be capable of understanding and working with geometrical tolerances standards to BSI / ISO standards. Ideally have kinematics experience and capable of running software to verify complex models.
3. Fluent in spoken/written English
The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as a CAD engineer in the automotive sector. It is anticipated candidates will be educated to Degree Level, or HNC/ HND with significant experience.
