Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.

The Role:
The Role:
We are currently sourcing Civil & Structural Engineers at all levels to join the North West Office on a Staff or Contract basis.
As part of a long term alliance with a major Oil & Gas client based in Kuwait we are undertaking FEED and detail design to support major revamp and modification projects modernising the client’s production facilities. Typical projects include gas processing plant, water injection and water treatment facilities, steam injection pilot plant and automation upgrades.

The candidate will be a Civil & Structural Engineer with a proven track record in onshore oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical projects and will be able to demonstrate experience (more for the senior positions) of FEED and detail design. Good communication and presentation skills are essential. Some travel to Kuwait may be required.

The individual will be able to perform all stages of project Civil & Structural engineering including Civil & Structural equipment specification and selection for both budget pricing and purchase.

Core Responsibilities:

•To undertake Civil & Structural Engineering design work with true regard to Safety and in compliance with national and client Codes & Standards
•To engineer all design work in line with the QA manual and procedures.
•To be innovative in design work with due regard to minimisation of cost whilst maintaining technical integrity
•To undertake all work within the estimated man-hour budget and within schedule

Specific Accountabilities to include some or all of:

•Provide definition of the Civil & Structural Engineering work as directed by the Project Lead Engineer or Chief Engineer
•Understand the Codes and Standards applicable to the work carried out and raise deviations where necessary
•Maintain work progress (budget, schedule) and raise change documentation where necessary.
•Supervision of technical detail, budget and schedule of Civil & Structural design in Project.
•Liaison with client, vendors and outside parties in a professional manner
•Liaise with the equivalent client focal point on technical and engineering matters on a regular basis
•Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
•Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree (or equivalent) in Civil & Structural Engineering, Chartered Engineer
•Significant experience in Oil & Gas FEED, EPC Design Projects.
•Proven track record engineering design.
•Excellent technical communication and coordination skills.
