The Role:
The main responsibilities of the Senior Civil Engineer:

Reporting to the Civil Engineering Manager, the Senior Civil Engineer will provide support during the engineering and construction of the Hebron Gravity Based Structure (GBS).

•Responsible for Safety, Security, Health, Environment (SSHE) within own team
•Responsible for implementing all SSHE rules and requirements into documents issued by the engineering team
•Analyze and conclude design issues for information that is necessary for establishing the technical background for design work
•Ensure that design basis, rules and regulations are implemented into design work
•Coordinate all information necessary for establishing the technical background for documentation
•Ensure that constructability and special requirements are included in the design work

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Candidates must have a recognized bachelor degree in engineering in civil/structural discipline and be registered or eligible for registration with PEGNL
•Minimum 8 years of experience from structural engineering of offshore structures, or heavy reinforced structures
•Excellent knowledge in the areas of Reinforced Concrete Design and Post-Tension Design
•Good knowledge in FEM (Finite Element) Analysis
•GBS design experience is an asset
•Understanding of construction and engineering collaborations
