The Company:
Our client is a Global Engineering & Construction (E&C) Group inside which you’ll find an incredible range of expertise and opportunity.
They offer their clients a complete range of skills and services so that they can work with their teams right from the earliest ‘ideas’ stage of their planned investments, through the study or concept selection phase, the front-end design, the EPC phase, and on into the commissioning and start-up phase.

The Role:
- To execute business related work to achieve expected standards of quality, efficiency, ethics and compliance with Company policies and to support the effective and profitable performance of the Operations.
- To provide Group engineering services to a standard and proficiency commensurate with our clients Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance (HSEQ) System.
- Maintain a contemporary technical and managerial competency through familiarity and knowledge of our clients HSEQ System and through knowledge and learning of developments in the Group subject area.
- The execution of proposal and project work in a Senior Designer capacity.
- Take ownership of the engineering deliverables and activities on projects commensurate with the defined role.
- Prepare and / or check technical input into project deliverables, including the overall quality of the product. To be able to execute the work to quality, to budget and within the defined time scales and in the correct logical and dependent sequence.
- To understand the nature of technical risks, during design, construction and eventual operation of the Plant, and be able to undertake qualitative risk assessments.
- Maintain a contemporary technical competency through familiarity, knowledge, learning and professional development in the discipline and related subject area. Demonstrate a means of continual development. Demonstrate practical skills and experience.
- Support, suggest and promote a regime of continuous improvement and value enhancement within the Group.
- Initiate and support the promotion, dissemination and contribution towards a healthy, safe, environmentally sound and secure working environment, in the home office, on projects and during visits and periods on site or in other offices. To be aware of response and actions required, and to implement these actions, in the event of excursions from the safe conditions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microstation with PDS Framework Modelling.
- Self motivated and also able to work in a team and be able to achieve goals.
- Represent our Client in a professional, conscientious and ethical manner.
- Represent our Client as participant with clients, suppliers, vendors, contractors and at other offices.
- To advise the Chief Specialist Engineer of issues on proficiency or deficiency in the skills and competencies of the Discipline Department as they become apparent. To suggest improvements in the discipline department.
- To assist in the development and training of personnel
