The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Commercial Advisor to support the growth of the company's business in Australia through management of existing E&P Ventures and the establishment of New Ventures.

Your key deliverables will include, but are not limited to;

• Support management of existing Ventures through advice on interpretation application and amendment of relevant agreements including Joint Operating Agreements.
• Advise on structure of new venture transactions and agreements which maximise value capture and allocate risk appropriately.
• Participate in negotiation of new venture agreements.
• Identify key value drivers in proposed deals and transactions.
• Prepare business cases which advocate allocation of resources and funds to new venture opportunities.
• Scan and analyse competitive environment and industry trends, providing ad hoc service advice on computer status and behaviour.
• Co-ordinate support to Australian Ventures from other commercial function such as Legal, Tax, Finance and Insurance.
• Liaise with relevant departments of the company's corporation in Tokyo.
• Provide mentoring for junior commercial staff, and commercial education for the broader organisation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience in a commercial role within the oil and gas industry with experience and knowledge including;

• Working with and influencing oil and gas joint ventures.
• Negotiating contracts and agreements.
• Upstream Production economics.
• Communication and presentation skills.
