The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 30 Countries worldwide.In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Construction Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Communications Advisor to support the Communications Manager in external communications, internal communications, media relations, social media, messaging, branding, publications, marketing, event management and advertising to enhance reputation and support a positive corporate culture. This role is to be offered on an initial three year maximum term employee basis.

Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide advice and tactical internal and external communications support to leaders
• Contribute to issue management as required
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Manage corporate and Project photo and video records
• Develop and manage Project and corporate communication channels and materials
• Support change communications as the business transitions to an operational state
• Create communication plans
• Regular travel to Darwin and other locations as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations or related discipline
• Five to eight years’ experience in corporate communications, public affairs or similar roles
• Strong writing skills
• Extensive skill in delivering effective media relations through traditional and social media
• Operational oil and gas industry experience, particularly on LNG projects (preferable)
• Well-developed time management skills and ability to deliver high quality work under pressure and to deadlines
• Experience developing internal and external communications
• Experience with developing and managing social media platforms
• A customer-focused and diplomatic style
