Role : Senior Completion & Intervention Supervisor

28/28 offshore rotation

The Completion and Intervention Supervisor’s role will be primarily an offshore position. However, the function will provide onshore technical supporting for project pre-planning and the ongoing operations. The position will be responsible for a wide range of completion & well intervention planning and operations management activities. The position will report to the Well Interventions Team Leader Operations but the position reports to Completion Engineer during the execution phase of a completion.

The Completions Supervisor will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the completions & well intervention activity undertaken on the Varios Projects wells. A key role of the position will be to ensure consistent process & procedures are implemented across the three fields and to continually strive towards completions execution excellence.

The overall role of the Completions & Intervention Supervisor is to ensure that sand-face, upper completions & well intervention activity is conducted safely and efficiently, to deliver a quality product meeting the required standards, i.e. run first time, assured well integrity and full functionality.

Provide supervision, mentoring, training and development of national and expatriate staff.
Review CV’s of 3rd party contractor support personnel as required.
Act as mentor to junior engineers, on technical & operational matters.
Work with Junior Completion Engineers to develop Standard Completion & Intervention Procedures.
Assurance / Learning
Review “Best Practices” in place outside Project with regard to the benefit of implementing them in Project completion & intervention operations.
Ensure that any lessons learned are captured within Project to be passed on to the wider Client community.
Maintain links to global networks to ensure use of best practices. (i.e. Well Engineering Forum, etc.)
Financial, Procurement and Contracts
Provide technical & operational support during review of service contact tender exercises

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Application which do not have vaild certifcates below will no be considered:-
IADC or IWCF needs to be subsea supervisor level.
IWCF intervention well control course required as well as is Helicopter survival cert and medical cert.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Special Requirements:

1.To have medical clearance to go Offshore
2.To have valid Offshore Survival training
3.To have valid Well Control Certification with following requirements: Certification Type – IADC; Course Level – Supervisory; Subjects - Drilling, Workover/Well Completions, Coil Tubing, Snubbing and Wireline
