WORK SCHEDULE: 6x2 Rotation

The Role:

The T&I Construction Team Lead is responsible for the management of the offshore T&I and Subsea installation workscope.



•Responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of project scopes
•Maintain awareness and promote project goals in respect of HSE, Budget, Schedule, and Technical Integrity
•Provide direction, motivation, support and leadership to both internal staff and external contractors.
•Responsible for ensuring the installation contractor delivers a competent organisation and a high standard of resources to successfully execute the work
•Responsible for managing contractor project execution performance and scope delivery.
•Maintain awareness and promote conformance to GPO expectations and requirements of Safe Design and Quality Build within the Pipelines Construction

Team and the Contractors:

•Promote, demonstrate and ensure compliance with all appropriate elements of the GPO, Operating Management System (OMS), including Risk Management, continuous improvement and Management of Change.
•Maintain awareness and promote project goals in respect of HSE, Budget, Schedule, and Technical Integrity
•Promote an effective and collaborative working environment with a ‘One Team’ approach.
•Maintain close contact with the Company Construction Management network to ensure relevant lessons and practices are evaluated for applicability to project and implemented as appropriate.
•Responsible for ensuring project lessons learned are captured and shared with the GPO.

Offshore Pipelines Construction Management:

•Manage the execution of the Derrick Barge Azerbaijan workscope for project including Pipeline crossing installation, pin pile installation, subsea structure installation (including Xmas trees), jackets installation and topsides installation.
•Manage the vessel operations to complete the offshore execution
•Assure vessel(s) capability to complete the offshore works and manage vessel readiness
•Build and lead a high performance team to facilitate successful delivery of the offshore execution.
•Manage, through the T&I Construction Superintendent, the work of the Construction Vessel Representatives (CVRs) on the offshore vessels
•Provide support to the M&SS PMs in the execution of the vessel upgrades
•Manage communication with the offshore vessel team and the marine operations team to ensure rigorous tracking of safety performance, schedule progress and SIMOPS planning.
•Manage the execution schedule for the T&I and Subsea activities and support the integrated marine schedule
•Ensure construction and site management processes are in place
•Work closely with the appropriate project teams to resolve conflicts in the overall interest of the project delivery
•Keep the Project Manager T&I informed of the key issues within the area of responsibility.
•Assist in the tracking of costs associated with the offshore construction works.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 10years experience of general offshore construction and subsea installation
• Proven experience of construction vessel operations
• Proven capability of building and leading successful teams
• Experience with site management activities related to health, safety, and environmental issues
