The Role:
Our client is seeking an experiened Senior Contracts Engineer to prepare, review, negotiate and manage the draft contracts and calls for tender for the different
packages related to the converted FPSO. Followed up by the contracts administration during execution phase.

Duties include:

Participate in the development and evolution of the Project’s contractual strategy considering the Company’s first FPSO conversion project.
Prepare the invitations to tender on the basis of Company rules / procedures and experience on previous projects.
Propose and co-ordinate revisions of the standard EPSC contracts for the purpose of the Project.
Co-ordinate with Company corporate, subsidiary and external legal support as well as insurance and finance
groups for drafting relevant articles.
Give advice to Project FPSO group in the preparation of contract exhibits.
Organise and participate to negotiations, clarifications and preparation of replies to the contractors.
Participate in the evaluation of contractors contractual and commercial bids and assist the Project in preparation
of the Recommendation to Award.
Contractual/commercial support during the Contract execution phase.
Participate in the settlement of disputes together with legal, insurance and finance specialists.
Propose improvement of Contracts and Procurement referential and participate in its evolution.
Train contract engineers.
Assist the Project in communication with Partners and Concessionaire.
Draft specific procedures, if necessary and required for the Package.
Assist the Contracts Lead in overall functions.
Participate in reducing contractual risks associated with interfaces with others packages (Risers, Mooring etc

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience (number of years): Minimum 15 years preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
Experience of contracts (number of years): Minimum 10 years with strong preference for candidates having
demonstrated sufficient experience on FPSO / vessel conversion contracts. Knowledge of tender preparation and
contracts negotiations will be a plus.
