The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, seeks expertise for mega-projects in Canada.

This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
Reporting to VP, Supply Chain Management, and the Senior Contracts Admin will lead all Stakeholder requirements for the tasks involved in the formation and award of complex contracts within and Hydro Power development.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Supply Chain Contracts team in the execution of strategic contracting strategies for high value, high-risk contracts for all of Hydro Power project requirements.
• Implement contract strategies for Hydro Power Project projects to ensure compliance to policies and standards and to ensure mitigation of risk.
• Support formation and issuance of complex Contracts, concept through to award including: Review and provide input into development of commercial terms during RFP; Where relevant, work with the stakeholders to develop meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and the associated management and measurement process(es) for inclusion in the contract; Review and confirm completeness of Scope of Work and compliance with Owner's General Terms and Conditions during the RFP development process; Prepare bid evaluations and award recommendations; Represent Owner in contractual discussions (internally and externally); Understand the Supply Chain process thoroughly and make recommendations concerning future requirements and identify emerging patterns.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Post Secondary Engineering degree with current professional engineering status preferred, and/or Post Secondary Technical Certification
• Assertive Oral and Written Communications skills that demonstrate discipline leadership, project partnering and team building capabilities, as well as demonstrate the robust ability to develop positive vendor relationships.
• 15 years experience working directly on large mining or dam projects with equivalent to $CAD 500mill annual budget oversight.
• Superior user of related computing products such as Microsoft Office, etc.
