The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Commits to and champions the development and implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an incident and injury free culture. Leading by example, interacting with workforce both in the field and at safety meetings are of the utmost importance, quality BBS's and a complete commitment to an IIF culture.

• Preparation of tender documentation for site developed Contracts
• Arrange for tenders to be called from sub-contractors for site developed project works.
• Arrange negotiations with sub-contractors and negotiation conditions of site developed contracts in conjunction with Client personnel and project management personnel.
• Creation and conforming of contract documentation in accordance with project master documentation and procedures.
• Maintain a register of sub-contractors and liaise with construction personnel to ensure their suitability
• Ensure effective contract administration in conjunction with construction personnel.
• Processing of contract variations, Extension of time claims, progress claims for work completed, attending and minuting of weekly progress meetings and evaluation and recommendation of disputed claims
• Maintaining all incoming contractual correspondence in the document management system.
• Generating and Management of outgoing contractual correspondence in accordance with project procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10 years contract administration experience in construction
Preferred Skills: Competent in use of computer systems and software High degree of literacy. Well developed communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Knowledge of Contract Management Systems. Good leader, well respected, excellent communicator. Ability to home into detail as necessary whilst maintaining the holistic view.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
University Degree in an Engineering discipline
