The Company:
Our client is a Major International EPC Company executing industrial mega-projects in Canada.

This opportunity is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Role:
• Prepare, issue and obtain approval of lists of prospective tenders for specific contract packages
• Prepare tender documents meeting the project requirements and launch the Requests for Tender
• Receive tenders, proceed with the analysis and manage internal and external communication
• Attend and lead negotiations with selected Tenders before award (if necessary), and draft the recommendations for contract award
• Prepare and issue contract documents for signature
• Analyze compensation requests and progress payment request
• Strictly control modifications to the contracts negotiating requests for modifications, claims and litigation, if necessary
• Coordinate the close-out of contracts
• Manage the final payment process
• Manage correspondence for all contracts in his/her sector

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate program; Engineering degree, an asset
Minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience in contracts
Ability to negotiate contracts, terms and conditions
Leadership, team spirit, and ability to find solutions to work-related problems
Aware of local standards and regulations
