CONTRACTS ADVISOR – WESTERN AUSTRALIA – PERTH THEN FIFO - $$ TOP LEVEL RATES REFLECTIVE OF SENIORITY OF THIS ROLE – VERY LONG TERM PROJECT – 5 TO 8 YEARS

We are keen to speak with an experienced Contracts Advisor to work on an Australian LNG development from the Perth CBD area initially and then move on to a site based role in Western Australia, on a FIFO basis. The role will be to deliver sub-contractor oversight, assurance and administration for the assigned package sub-contracts

The successful individual will:

o Support project change and trend management program, including assurance and audit of the EPC and subcontractor changes
o Support Funding Request /SOC verification process
o Support Subcontracts administration and Delivery Manager in assessment and analysis for potential changes and trends
o Supports Cost engineering and QS team in the oversight and assurance activities associated with the Contractors management of change system, including budget transfers and contingency drawdown; generates integrated project progress, performance, & forecast reports
o Oversee proposed changes to terms/agreements, work scopes, formal communication, invoice approval and payments on assigned Subcontracts.
o Work with Project Contracts team and Cost Estimating & Budgeting to estimate Trend and changes
o Work with other project team members to identify and resolve subcontract issues
o Provide input to Site potential trends and opportunities registers.
o Participate in Trend reviews and provide analysis to Delivery Manage and Cost team
o Supports Project Controls for Contractor KPI’s & Fixed Fee (Cost Control, analysis, change control, invoice reviews, forecasting and reporting).
o Support Project Reporting requirements.
o Not have a supervisory role but may mentor others. Review and assurance/audit of Unit Rates subcontracts / Measurement (Contractor / Subcontractors) relative to the site construction contracts

Essential Requirements

1) You will be possess +10 years of QS / commercial and or contract administration and management, analysis experience with experience in the execution of large Oil and Gas construction Projects.
2) You will have the ability to perform, evaluate and communicate project change and trend analysis from fabrication, mechanical testing activities. Ideally you will have a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages, such as Word, Excel and Email to communicate.
3) You will have diversified project experience – construction execution - participation in execution phase EPC major capital projects, preferably in contracts and/or project management roles.
