The Company:
Our Client is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe.

The Role:
Responsibility for placement of contract packages and subsequent post contract administration along with associated documentation development and approval requirements.
Primary Focus is EPC and related development projects/contracts, mainly Upstream, Midstream and supporting Infrastructure
Ensuring that National content provisions are built into the tendering process and the executed contracts


Develops Procurement demand plans & Contract strategies
Reviews and further develops specifications and scope of work.
Responsible for development, compilation and conduct of pre-qualification exercises, invitation to tender documentation, tender openings and evaluation of tenders received, including detailed analysis of commercial and contractual qualifications, contract negotiation and execution of contracts.
Prepare and present contract strategies for Contract Review Board meetings (CRB)
Develops Procurement demand plans & Contract strategies

Ensures compliance with Company, JOA and PSC requirements along with governance and compliance obligations.
Ensures that suppliers fully consider and include appropriate National Content elements in proposals and in contracts
Liaise with Group and Local National Content teams
Ensures that all procurement and contracting activities are fully compliant and geared towards achieving best value
Provides QA and assurance with respect to transactions planned, sourced and contracted by JV Partners
Addresses variations and claims with contractors
Oversees administration of contracts through to close out
Attends progress meetings and presents management updates
Provides support to Project Teams in support of the contract management process, post-award contractual interpretation and administration matters
Provides regular management reports on activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Significant proven oil and gas contracting experience.
Formulation and negotiation experience of a cross section of complex contracts, ideally in EPC project context
Complete understanding of significant legal and commercial issues
International exposure within an oil and gas operating environment.
The following academic qualifications are advantageous:
Preferably to Degree level in a business, engineering or management related subject.
CIPS preferred.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Significant proven oil and gas contracting experience.
Formulation and negotiation experience of a cross section of complex contracts, ideally in EPC project context
Complete understanding of significant legal and commercial issues
International exposure within an oil and gas operating environment.
The following academic qualifications are advantageous:
