The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Contract Administration: - 90%
• Provision of commercial and contractual support to the Contracts Team and the Project Management and as directed to by the Contracts Manager and/or Senior Contracts Manager.
• Identify commercial and contractual risks and ensure mitigation plans are in place and being managed.
• Development and review of Change Orders, commercial and contractual documentation (e.g. RFCs, COIU, SIs, Claims correspondences etc).
• Development of plans/strategies in resolution of commercial and contractual matters.
• Highlight emerging issues and trends and contribute to their reporting and resolution.
• Assist the Integrated Contracts Team in the management of all administration (e.g. contract expiry planning).
• Developing and implementing Contractor Performance metrics and management plans to track financial commitment.
• Ensuring Contractor capability and systems meet Contractual requirements to support efficient payment of all contract related payment applications.
• Provide contract status reports when required.
• Check, analyse and confirm contractor progress claims.


Process Governance - 10%
• Coordinate, participate and contribute within audits when required.
• Provide assistance, when required, to projects cost control, planning departments and legal.
• Provide support to Perth based team in relation to project commercial and contractual policies and procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Required Competencies:
• Undergraduate degree and 10+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• Familiarity with electronic Contract management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of office products or equivalent (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Excellent communicator and a team player in order to facilitate between different business functions in varying locations (i.e., Perth offices, BWI)
• Ability to adopt a flexible work approach.
• Knowledge, understanding and exposure to the Client, Contractor and EPCM environments.
