The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
• Manage and oversee major EPC subcontracting activities (prequalification, tendering and evaluation) for:
o Dredging Package
o Temporary Site Facilities
o Module Offloading Facility
o Product Loading Jetty Substructure
o Accommodation Village
o Administration Complex
o Site Development
• Review development, compilation, sourcing, pre-tenders, Invitations to Tender, tender openings, and evaluations of proposals received including all requests for qualifications for major contracts
• Providing contract/procurement advice to Client team and managers
• Ensure that contract processes are being carried out in the most efficient and cost effective manner utilising the approved OBT procedures
• Coordinate review of documents for presentation to OBT Packages Committee
• Participate in FEED Contract audit, reviewing records for accuracy and conformance to standards
• Ensure Australian Industry Participation objectives are being considered and implemented in all contracting and procurement activities (work closely with Perth Supply Diversity Advisor)
• Develop and/or analyse JKC contracts documentation for issues (Scope of Work, Terms and Conditions of Contracts)
• Support negotiation of SubContractors qualifications and exceptions during ITT evaluation
• Ensure market trend investigation and benchmark activity within the industry is efficiently performed to ensure contractors & suppliers are quoting competitively and in line with the industry standard
• Ensure commercial and contractual correspondence with JKC is efficiently handled
• Coordinate on contractual, commercial, taxation, insurance and legal issues with relevant internal stakeholders

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering/Quantity Surveying qualification, Business Administration, Law or equivalent professional or substantial relevant experience
• Substantial Project Contracts experience , particularly in design and construct/infrastructure/civil contracts with client team
• Direct supervisory experience (desirable)
• Experience in contract formulation activities, systems and processes coupled with a superior working knowledge of engineering, construction and service delivery practices.
• Understanding of Australian local content requirements in the contracting process
• Ability to work under pressure
