The Company:
Oil & gas company is looking for SENIOR CONTRACTS ENGINEER

The Role:
• Liaise continuously with the Package team and notably the Project Engineer in charge; work under the guidance and instructions of the Package Manager under the supervision and with the support of the Project Contracts Leader;
• Review of contractors and suppliers correspondence with respect to contractual impact. Prepare recommended responses;
• Be proactive towards the project team to identify risky situations and propose methods of improvement;
• Management of variations: maintaining logs of change orders requests and identified variations, anticipate and take all necessary measures to prevent variations to contracts; evaluate change orders requests, claims and propose recommended answers to the contractors;
• Participate in meetings and be responsible for the minutes: Clarifications meetings with Tenderers, Progress meetings with Contractor(s), internal coordination meetings, change orders meetings;
• Perform reporting tasks: Project Contracts Status Report daily update, Project Weekly & Monthly reports input for contracts, ad-hoc reporting at Management request

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Contracts / Commercial background. EPCm experience would be valuated;
• Some effective experience in E&P contract administration (inclusive of law, pricing, technical scoping, drafting of contracts, administrating, negotiating, planning and scheduling) is mandatory;
• Familiar in the administration/management of lumpsum, reimbursable, target price types of contracts;
• Rigorous/organized/excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Able to work in a multicultural environment (fluent in English and Russian (speaking and writing);
• Capable of independently negotiating complex contractual issues/able to influence and persuade;
• Communicative person/teamwork oriented, not afraid to ask questions which shows interest to the work Keen to report problems to management (priorities, blocking points...)/openness
