The Role:
Responsible for ensuring that appropriate contracts are placed and managed to cover pre-defined well operations and maintenance workscopes. Responsible for full commercial and contractual support including development of concept, strategy, bidding, negotiation, execution and ongoing management of contracts post award.

Accountable to work with business customers to define requirements and to develop and implement long term contracting strategy taking cognisance of prevailing market conditions and to ensure successful performance of contract.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communicator & ability to engage and influence at high levels both internally and externally.
• Ability to work collaboratively with vendor(s) whilst ensuring that the clients best interests are protected.
• Able to surface and address conflicts.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with ability to lead.
• Strong contract drafting skills with significant practical experience.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills, commercially astute.
• Flexible and creative approach with willingness to champion change.
• Understanding & knowledge of procurement tools, techniques, commercial frameworks and relevant regulatory/legislative requirements & ability to ensure compliance.
• Ability to effectively apply analytical tools, concepts and methods.
• Track record in delivering results.
• Evidence of leadership in company core values.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
• Awareness of relevant technical issues and desire to increase knowledge base.
• Experience in contractual and/or commercial working environment.
