The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Engineer to lead the Cost Engineering activities for the Heavy Lift & Tie-Ins contract.

The main duties of the role will include;

• Integrate Heavy Lift & Tie-Ins related costs for project stewardship, conduct consolidated cost and schedule stewardship, cost estimation, budget, and governance
• Provide specific cost control and Work Program & Budget support to Package Team
• Develop VoWD and cash forecast reports as well as maintain forecast final cost together with register of risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities
• Develop and report against Work Program & Budget
• Initiate and progress Management of Change events and Coordinate any Heavy Lift & Tie-Ins related Management of Change
• Undertaking monthly Value of Work Done calculations in conjunction with contract owners
• Liaising with Finance in the month end process for VOWD and reporting
• Monitor and manage project cost control, planning, risk management, progress and performance
• Developing and maintaining project forecasts for costs and dates
• Facilitating financial controls and proper authorisation of expenditure
• Conducting cash flow projections

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this role you will ideally be degree qualified, have 10 plus years experience in a similar role and posess excellent communication and numeracy skills. Additionally we are looking for candidates who have the ability to prepare and deliver presentation material to key Project and external stakeholders.

This position is a 12 month contract, working a 9 hour day based in the Perth CBD
