The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
The main purpose of this position is to provide the required Cost Engineering support associated with the new Engineering & Procurement Services Contract (EPSC) due to be initiated in November 2013.
Main duties:
Deliver consistent but appropriate cost management structures for the EPSC contract and the related post FCP projects.
Roll-out the emerging Company standard tools and processes, as appropriate for project's FEED & Execute stages.
Support delivery of cost management solutions for EPSC post FCP projects as appropriate including Assets under guidance of the PS lead.
Support the development of project work breakdown structures and their population from the project cost estimate.
Prepare documented Cost Time and Resource (CTR) sheets for phased cost estimates in line with the Company guidance notes for agreement and sign-off by the CTR budget holders.
Generate accurate monthly cost reports, highlighting variances from the plan on commitment, value of work done, changes and currency fluctuations against approved authorities for expenditure (AFEs or GIPs).
Contribute to the change management process for projects. Analyse trends and the highlight potential impacts of changes on cost.
Assist in peer reviews and ESARs.
Support the cost team to roll out and use Dassian the new CMt for the group.
