Our client is also involved in ground-breaking projects the likes of which the world has never seen before thus confirming their reputation as an innovator in oil and gas technology.

The Role:
A new contract opportunity has arisen for a Senior Cost Engineer based in Perth. This role will require a highly proactive individual who has experience of working on offshore and onshore LNG projects.

The role will join a team of cost engineers and planners working on non operated ventures and will require the person to communicate effectively across the business to understand and analyse the cost data and understand the scheduling from a cost perspective.
The role will be highly autonomous and will require you to be able to drive your own performance to deliver what is required across the projects.

Responsibilities includes:
• Data interpretation, analysis and forecasting.
• Predominantly working within governance teams, you will prepare and present critical project services technical data to enhance the ability of the organisation to influence the performance of projects operated by others is a key element of this role, so first class relationship skills, drive, enthusiasm and collaborative ability are essential characteristics.
• Advise and input to the overall project services utilising Primavera to extract and understand data
• Analyse and develop projections with limited information important attribute

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and/or 5-10 years of experience in applying the discipline skill to oil and gas projects.
• Familiar with a variety of the discipline's concepts, practices and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks with minimal day to day supervision.
• Has begun to demonstrate some breadth in applying skills to different project phases and / or acquiring experience in other related disciplines.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
