The Company:
Our client is a Perth-based oil and gas subsurface consultancy delivering geoscience technology as well as providing bespoke geoscience services since 2004. Our Client offers a range of services including subsurface consulting, managing deployment, data management, skills development and interpretation services.

The Role:
Open to both contract and permanent applicants and international candidates.

Our Client offers a range of services including subsurface consulting, managing deployment, data management, skills development and interpretation services.

They are currently seeking a Senior Data Manager to work on Oil & Gas projects within their client base.

The role will require someone who has gained circa 10 years expertise within data management with an excellent understanding of the Exploration Geoscience data types (both well and seismic.)

You will also need to demonstrate experience of working specifically with Geological and geophysical Project Data within an exploration team. The position demands a detail orientated mindset who is used to delivering consistent high quality output.

Working with the client you will need to have the ability to constructively critique and challenge existing processes and procedures and to propose new, effective and fit for purpose processes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•10 years plus experience within Data Management including good project management skills
•Excellent understanding of exploration geoscience data types (both wells and seismic)
•Extensive experience of working specifically with geological and geophysical Project Data within an exploration team.
•Geosciences degree qualified
•Highly proficient in the use of Petrel (knowledge of Studio would be an advantage)
•Good working knowledge of OpenWorks and the associated Data Management tools is also highly desirable
•Strong organisational and problem solving skills
•Oil & Gas industry experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with one or more of the following - GeoFrame, IESX, Charisma and / or Landmark
It would be advantageous for Candidates to hold extensive international experience
