The Company:
Our client is a global market leader within the energy sector with projects in over 30 countries worldwide. Here in Australia, they are involved in one of the largest LNG projects with operations spanning exploration, production and downstream. The Role:
Our client is currently seeking a passionate Senior Diversity & Inclusion Advisor who aims to influence and drive growth and diversity within an organisation.The position has a core focus on managing and enhancing Diversity and Inclusion strategies. The successful candidate will sit within the HR team and provide support to the People & Culture Manager , on a 12 month maternity leave cover with a flexible fulltime or part time option.

As the successful candidate your primary responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

* Review, Enhance & Manage D&I initiatives from concept, through design, research, implementation and improvement.
* Develop relevant internal professional development programs for specific groups on D&I concepts including; HR team members, Line Managers and Contact Officers.
* Assist the Resourcing and Generalist HR with core understanding of D&I issues and assist with development and promotion of proactive resourcing strategies.
* Collaborate with People & Culture teams and Corporate Social Responsibility team regarding related initiatives and activities.
* Liaise with the Tokyo based Global Diversity and Inclusion team.
* Provide mentoring and coaching within the HR team to improve awareness and support of D&I initiatives.
* Regularly monitor compliance levels and complete annual review of Equal Employment Opportunity online training module.
* Contribute to annual review of various Company Standards and Procedures to apply knowledge of best practice D&I principles.
* Manage Aboriginal Cultural Awareness training program.



Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Degree or relevant qualification within Human Resources or Management
* At least 10 years of generalist experience within Human Resources
* Highly desired previous experience in a similar sole Diversity & Inclusion position
* Has an understanding of D& I practices and how to grow an organisation's D&I maturity level.
* Working knowledge of applicable workplace legislation.
* Project and Change management skills.
* Previous experience dealing with issues related to discrimination & unfair treatment in the workplace.
* Previous exposure in implementing or developing new concepts and procedures within a business.
