The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Operational Excellence/ General:
Embrace the (IIF) Incident, Injury Free culture
Build and establish a successful working relationship with internal and external customers.
Comply and promote compliance with Company and Project specific procedures/processes to ensure success.
Build and maintain open lines of communication and avenues for knowledge sharing between all Company DC teams

Document Control Services:
The Document Control function will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:
Process work requests when received
Check, validate EPCm information
Liaise with internal and external organisation’s to agree process and responsibilities for document management. Ensure compliance to these approved specifications
Monitor performance of EPCm, working with EPCm Global Leads
Checking/validation/verification of all documentation, including correct numbering, revisions, status, format, title and legibility
Registration of documentation into the DMS, with attributes.
Distribution, via DMS generated transmittal, to internal and external parties
Issue of standard and ad hoc reports and registers
Process RFI’s as received.
Archiving of project records in accordance with Retention Schedules
Participant and/or contributor to Company and Contractor audits
The Senior will advise in consultation with the IM Coordinator the daily workload of the Document Controllers to ensure the above services are delivered within defined KPI’s and in addition is responsible to deliver the following,
Assist new and existing staff to complete training in the DMS system.
Be a focal point within project for technical support and assistance for the project Document Management System. DC help desk
Be the project DC focal point supporting Legal re claims and external contractor interface.
Manage/review specific contracts, processes and procedures relative to COMPANY and CONTRACTORS.
Monitor Project Document Control workload in consultation with the IM Coordinator and make adjustments as necessary to ensure Project timelines are met Facilitate, and attend Project meetings as required or requested.
Use of e Room instances for secure Information exchange with relevant parties
Act as SME during Project Alignment sessions, workshops and lessons learned activities

Lead in consultation with the IM Coordinator the project Document Controllers by providing day to day work direction as well as creating plans for managing workloads.
Provide feedback regarding work progress with subordinate(s) to the IM Coordinator as applicable.
Establish team building rapport with internal and external recipients to ascertain a successful working relationship.
Demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges. Document Control Implementation Implementing the Document Control systems processes and procedures will involve:
Support the role out of the new DMS product
Development of procedures/processes as required
Ensure that new starts attend DMS training – develop materials together with IM
Follow up and report on training
Liaise with the asset teams re Contract deliverables.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant oil and gas experience on major capital projects in a similar role.
Experience in a Lead/Senior position.
High Attention to detail
