The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Document Controller, the function of this position is to be responsible for receipt, registration, distribution, retrieval and filing of the project controlled documentation

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Provide guidance on Document Control processes for all Project Team members.
• Establish processes for review, approval and distribution of information at project level.
• Assist and support the Lead IM Coordinator in system development when required
• Act as the department supervisor in the absence of the Lead IM Coordinator with full delegation of authority
• Engage in discussions with key stakeholders on document control requirements (Onshore/Offshore/Civils) as required
• Provide assistance with numbering and naming conventions in liaison with other departments such as Corporate Document Control and Producing Operations.
• Continuous improvement of Project Database (PIMS) with the means to securely store, retrieve and view information for Project team
• Assign confidentiality levels and govern access and viewing rights for PIMS.
• Assist with training and guidance to the Document Controllers/Administrative and Technical Assistants in Perth and other offices as required
• Assist with system (PIMS) training to project end-users
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
• Work in a harmonious, safe and efficient manner with all project personnel
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with peers.
• To provide assistance to the Project Services team where requested.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years experience with Electronic Document Control Systems
• Experience in Project Document Control execution requirements on large
• scale Oil and Gas Projects.
• Experience in a supervisory position.
• Strong communications skills
• Sound IT and systems management knowledge
• High level of understanding of EDMS systems and Project requirements in alignment with Project Execution and Handover requirements.
