The Role:
Job Purpose:
To supervise on site drilling, completion, well testing and workover operations and to ensure that all activities on site are conducted as per program in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner, complying with the Company standards and local regulations requirements.

Key Accountabilities:
• Supervise Drilling SSHE coach, Logistics Coordinator and Operations Drilling Engineer to ensure safety, logistics and engineering plan are in line with daily activities and look ahead plan
• Plan and manage onsite daily drilling operations issue Drilling Instructions in accordance to drilling program and procedures; load and conduct look ahead and/or project planning with all supervisors onsite.
• Lead and supervise the execution of the drilling-, completion-,well testing- and workover program and ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, complying with the Company's standards
• Ensure adherence to SSHE Management System, Drilling Management System (DMS), the Vendor Management System (VMS) and the local regulatory requirements.
• Contribute in creating one team with drilling and service contractors personnel on-site with the goal to drill the wells efficiently, maintaining a high SSHE standards.
• Manage drilling and service contractors on site and report on their performance; ensure quality equipment and competent personnel delivered onsite.
• Provide continuous, accurate and reliable information on any aspect of the operations to the Drilling Superintendent and ensure that daily and other reports are completed properly and submitted in time.
• Assist the Drilling Superintendent to resource the Drilling Operations team as appropriate to cover all operational requirements and to define drilling objectives for the Drilling Department
• Create together with drilling and service contractors on site a positive attitude towards SSHE, manage JSA’s, participate in HAZIP and HAZOP studies and SSHE reviews, follow-up action items, support the SSHE engineer on site, monitor and report on SSHE performance and contribute to a SSHE improvement plan.
• Contribute to pre-start drilling audits to ensure that competent personnel and adequate equipment are available for execution.
• Ensure equipment and materials required for the drilling operations are delivered in time, considering logistics constraints and complying with the Procurement and Contracting process and the Vendor Management System (VMS).
• Contribute in providing input for the risk management process and emergency response plans for the Drilling Operations.
• Contribute in providing input for the Drilling Management System (DMS) and suggest improvements.
• Assist in developing staff through mentoring and coaching, performance feedback and identifying development opportunities
Ensure all activities required under CMS are completed on time for both him/herself and team members – this includes acting as Technical Well Services Assessor for CMS Internal and Reruitment Screeening process.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Certifications & training
- Industry training in drilling technology and SSHE
- Current IWCF certificate, supervisory sub-sea level, and HUET

• Professional Experience
- 10 years experience onshore/ offshore drilling operations with minimum 3 years experience in on site drilling supervision
