The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Reporting to the Living Quarters Fabrication Lead and provide the following functions: HES
• Leader in Safety through the application of IIF principles
• Input to the HSE program for fabrication including HAZIDs. Technical
• Through knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems in use on Oil and Gas processing platforms.
• Review relevant fabrication documents including drawings and procedures as required to ensure that fabrication proceeds in accordance with Company and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the engineering coordinator to ensure that E&I RFI’s / TQ’s are resolved quickly, efficiently and correctly.
• Interact with Company and external SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) as required.
• Provide input as required for the QA/QC group on technical issues during construction.
• Initiate Management of Change (MOC) if required
• Ensure fabrication meets SID (Safety in Design) requirements.
• Ensure Australian EEHA requirements are achieved by Contractor for LQ
• Ensure Contractor delivers contract requirements for VDD Procurement Support
• Assist with Contractor material orders, deliveries quantities and schedule for the discipline.
• Interact with Contractor’s procurement and logistics department and Company’s QA/QC team to ensure that engineering based consideration are addressed during Materials procurement Fabrication Support
• Interact with Contractor’s fabrication department and Company’s fabrication and QA/QC team to ensure that engineering based consideration are addressed during Materials handling, equipment installation, preservation and general use.
• Work with QC team to ensure ITR’s and Completion packages are completed as required and in priority order.
• Assist as required to generate input for scheduling and risk identification/management.
• Perform regular Site inspections to ensure works are proceeding per contract.
• Attend weekly internal and contractor meetings
• Monitors the project fabrication execution planning - Seek out and apply best practices from other projects - Capture and share best practices and lessons learned from project planning and execution.

• Attend weekly internal and contractor meetings. Additional role The following capabilities will be looked upon very favourably should the candidate be able to execute them.
• Familiarity with PDMS and the ability to execute model queries on tagged items, piping systems etc.
• Contractor uses Aveva Marine as its 3D modelling package. Familiarity with the package as opposed to PDMS will be suitable.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
12-15 Years minimum
Related professional work experience in engineering, construction and/or project management including 5 years of recent fabrication experience on Major Capital Projects including Semi Submersible, FPSO or Topsides.
Good written and communication skills. English essential. Korean desirable.
Must be familiar with Autocad and general E&I engineering packages i.e. InTools etc.
Experience in working within multidiscipline and multicultural teams on large major capital projects.
Qualification as above, IIF, schedule monitoring, contract principles
