The Company:
Our client is a major player in the global natural resources marketplace with offices in over 50 countries.

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a senior E&I Engineer who has a wealth of experience and knowledge in either the Chemical, PetroChemical. Power, Nuclear or Oil & Gas Industries.

•Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the required technical standards, processes and procedures and operating effectively and in compliance with legislation, the Facility Safety Case and Corporation regulations.
•Ensure assigned Instrument and Electrical Engineering activities are focussed to delivering safe production performance with maximum reliability.
•Ensure costs are controlled and managed in order to achieve business goals by monitoring contracts performance within the group and supporting the building of the OPEX budgets.
•Provide technical leadership to technician groups and foster effective teamwork in completing technical activities.
•Provide discipline engineering input into multi-discipline Engineering projects, both small and large, and provide Instrument and Electrical engineering input into HAZOP and Hazard review processes
•Develop and implement minor plant modifications for offshore and onshore sites in line with Facilities Change procedure
•Actively participate in the Instrument and Electrical Engineering to ensure that the production and maintenance systems are integrated and are operating effectively in accordance with the Production Unit Business Plan and are operating safely and efficiently in accordance with management systems. Ensure continuous improvement of technical and business systems
•Foster effective teamwork in order to motivate staff and help establish a work environment / climate, work systems and practices that maximise opportunities for staff to perform well, achieve job satisfaction and contribute effectively to the Corporation. This includes ensuring all recruitment, training and performance assessments are in place and being carried out effectively.
•Develop, maintain and manage networks and relationships with key personnel including those from the Operations Team, other operational Sites and regulatory bodies
•Provide discipline input into monthly reliability and maintenance reporting benchmarking equipment and system performance
•Management of assigned contracts within group.
•Participate in defining group priorities in conjunction with the Systems Engineering Supervisor.
•Participate in the Development of the annual budget forecast for OPEX and CAPEX projects
